I remember the scandal in the late 1980's that quickly disappeared as a public topic of conversation that News Corp was paying less than 1cent in the dollar of revenue in tax…for every dollar earned News Corp was taxed less than a cent, even though tax rates were in the 40% level for business profit….everything including business lunches, fleets, wages, buildings, rents, marketing, was tax deducted and taxable profit was non existent. A business that was growing more than 10% in net worth per year paying 1cent in the dollar tax…but News Corp was at the front of every headline, screaming government is wasting their tax on stimulus spending welfare.

Business leaders who don't have the slightest clue of how even basic macro economics work, being paid hundreds of thousands in salary while advocating destroying aggregate demand, at all cost. They claim its all funded by over taxed business, but my understanding of tax deductibility is most businesses tax deduct everything and pay very little tax, no matter what the tax rate is, high or low. Most reinvest profits so pay no tax on money reinvested, even if they lack tax deductions to write off tax.

Talking to my bro this morning, he is a big businessman and I swear, business management across the board is so fucken dumb, they don't even understand ‘aggregate demand’ and how cutting ‘this, that and the other’ of welfare spending, immediately creates aggregate demand deficits, that then becomes a domino effect of businesses with too little spending in the economy, closing down, creating an imploding economy, that they dig-a-hole-to-fill-a-hole with military spending, that puts money in elite hands further erodes aggregate demand, until the only choice for slash and burn politics is military adventurism, to distract the public from imploding economy.

Average intelligence in USA is 10% of what it was a year ago, exactly in line with Trumps one step logic on everything.

Agriculture has no pickers, real-estate is in glut, retail aggregate demand has a black hole of 1 million less working spenders and nobody questions why the Fed is precipitously dropping rates like the economy is imploding. But they do think international kidnap is the way forward to fill the deficit on aggregate demand with 25 million barrels of stolen oil.
