                                        We can convert this thesis to therapy by manipulating comfort levels of otherwise deviants and sociopaths to become normative by induction of material comfort, that is then maintained for social control and response to criminality deviance, which I don't think Dr Ellison envisaged in his discourse.

Markets produce 'Comfort' [and convenience], wars create 'Discomfort' [and inconvenience] not necessarily a common need for 'drama'. Some people are opposed to 'comfort' as social untruth of inauthentic existence. My addendum to theory is that people like Trump are holders of 'a' perspectivist truth, that life is essentially uncomfortable, except for themselves, where comfort is automatic and discomfort needs to be confected to avoid a fully nullifying comfortable life, so he seeds discomfort in people around him, hoping to profit from their creative discomfiture, using discomfort for Capitalist exploitation.
