PILOT SHOW FOR POLICE COMEDY, 'ANOTHER DAY ANOTHER DONUT'

[Sider Fusion AI] Write me a pilot for a Police comedy set in a Police station, comedy called 'another day another donut', with Inspector Potts, sergeant Downer and Constable Appleyard, in the manner of keystone cops, with comic interactions with daily criminals hauled into station

Title: Another Day, Another Donut
Episode 1: "The Mugging Mishap"

INT. POLICE STATION - MORNING

The station is chaotic but oddly charming—papers flying, phones ringing, and the sound of sirens in the background. INSPECTOR POTTS (a bumbling, overly serious officer) is at his desk, flipping through a file. SERGEANT DOWNER (grumpy but clumsy) is trying to hang a corkboard, which keeps falling. CONSTABLE APPLEYARD (eager but naive) stands ready, donuts in hand.

SCENE 1: ENTRANCE

Two criminals, MR. SMUDGE and LADY LARCENY, are hauled in, handcuffed, by POLICE OFFICERS. They look like cartoon villains.

OFFICER: (struggling with the cuffs) Here they are! Yet again!

Mr. Smudge smirks, slipping a small, wrapped object into his pocket.

SMUDGE: You got us this time, coppers. But next time, you’ll be catching nothing but a cold!

The criminals are pushed into the station, bumping into chairs, knocking over a tin of donuts. A donut rolls across the floor.

SCENE 2: THE INSPECTOR'S OFFICE

Inspector Potts surveys the scene, adjusting his shiny badge.

POTTS: Well, well, another day, another donut. Let’s process these pests. Appleyard! Call the forensics, see if they can find any crumbs!

Constable Appleyard nods eagerly, accidentally knocking over a coffee mug.

APPLEYARD: Sorry, sir! I’ll get right on it!

Downer enters, poorly balancing a corkboard, which crashes down nearby.

DOWNER: (groaning) I swear I just wanted to put this up… it’s the wall, I tell ya!

SCENE 3: THE CRIMINALS' INTERROGATION ROOM

The criminals are seated. Smudge tries to slip a paper towel into Lady Larceny’s hand.

SMUDGE: (whispering) If we split, you gotta tell 'em the info I got. The safe's in the park—hidden in the statue of the dog.

LADY LARCENY: Nice, but I think I’ll keep my options open.

Meanwhile, outside, Sergeant Downer visualizes the scene, imagining himself as a suave detective, but trips over his own feet.

SCENE 4: COMIC CHAOS

Back in the main office, Appleyard is trying to tape over a small fire extinguisher that's exploded, spraying foam everywhere. Potts is trying to read a report upside down.

POTTS: Hmm, these reports are like my last date—hard to interpret, but full of surprises.

Downer finally gets the corkboard hung, but it swings wildly, knocking over a filing cabinet.

DOWNER: (muttering) It’s fine… just the breeze of justice.

SCENE 5: THE CRIMINALS TRY TO ESCAPE

The criminals attempt to make a break for it, but Oops! Mr. Smudge trips on his own shoelaces, faceplanting into a pile of rubber boots. Lady Larceny gets caught in the door, which closes on her hand.

OFFICER: (laughing) Looks like you're more slippery than smooth!

SCENE 6: CONCLUSION & DONUT TIME

Inspector Potts peeks out of his office, munching on a donut with crumbs on his chest.

POTTS: Well, team, another day, another donut!

Everyone shares a laugh, even Sergeant Downer, who finally gets the corkboard perfectly aligned.

APPLEYARD: (grinning) And maybe next time, fewer donuts and more crime-fighting?

DOWNER: Or more donuts and less crime! Or maybe both.

They all laugh as the camera pans out, showing the chaotic but cheerful police station.

FADE OUT.

END.
