Part 1: The Honest Pact

[Scene Start]
Setting: A dusty community square. Eli and Clara approach the Protector, holding small, worn velvet pouches.
Narrator: (To the audience) They brought what they had. It wasn't a fortune, but it was honest. Every single penny of their pocket money.
Eli: It’s all we’ve got left this month, Protector.
Clara: For keeping the borders safe. We pay our share.
Protector: (Takes the pouches, nodding) And your peace is guaranteed. Go in safety.
[Scene End]

Part 2: The Poisoned Ear

[Scene Start]
Setting: A dimly lit alleyway. The Bully is counting meager coins. The Embezzler approaches, wearing a flashy suit.
Embezzler: Look at this pittance! Bully, they are laughing at you.
Bully: (Growls) They paid the Protector. They said it's all they had.
Embezzler: Total rip-offs! They have hordes of cash hidden away. They insult your strength by paying so little to a real power like you.
Bully: (Wide-eyed, touched) You... you see my worth. Everyone else lies to me. You’re my only true friend.
[Scene End]

Part 3: The Encroachment

[Scene Start]
Setting: The boundary line of the Protector’s land. The Bully stands with three heavy-set gang members.
Bully: My true friend says this dirt belongs to us now! Push the fences back!
Narrator: (Stepping forward) You’re crossing the line, Bully. This land is protected.
Bully: Not anymore. Your little "moral community" is a bunch of cheap skates. We take what we want!
[Scene End]

Part 4: The Righteous Fury

[Scene Start]
Setting: The community square. Eli and Clara stand before a pile of heavy wooden stakes and thick tree branches.
Clara: No more running. No more hiding.
Eli: (Gripping a heavy club) They mistake our morality for weakness.
Narrator: The peaceful townspeople didn't wait for a miracle. They became the storm.
[Scene Start - Action]
The Bully and his gang charge into the square. Eli and Clara lead the townspeople, screaming a battle cry. They swing the sticks and clubs with absolute fury.
Bully: (Screaming, blocking blows) Wait! Stop! You're supposed to be peaceful!
The gang is utterly overwhelmed and flees. The Bully is left bruised, battered, and grovelling on the ground.
[Scene End]

Part 5: The Toll of Victory

[Scene Start]
Setting: The Protector's office. Eli and Clara hand over a much larger, heavier sack of coins to the Protector.
Eli: (Breathing heavily, holding a broken stick) We kept our land. But we know the cost.
Clara: For the extra cleanup, the extra guards, and the blood spilled on your soil. Take the extra pocket money.
Protector: (Accepting the heavy sack) A heavy price for a heavy lesson.
[Scene End]

Part 6: The Last Laugh

[Scene Start]
Setting: A lavish balcony overlooking the battered neighborhood. The Embezzler pours two glasses of expensive wine, handing one to his Moll.
Moll: (Giggling, looking through binoculars) Look at him down there! The big bad Bully can barely walk.
Embezzler: (Bursts into hysterical laughter) I told him they were cheap! I told him he was my "friend"!
Moll: And the idiot actually believed you!
Embezzler: He marched his thugs straight into a woodchipper because he thought I cared about his dignity! Oh, the sheer, beautiful credulity of a meathead!
[Scene End]
