When Trump discovered Obama was in secret self imposed exile, he quickly stopped lashing out at Obama, but kept blaming Biden for his economic woes. Which to me suggests he was attacking Obama in the hope he was assassinated, when he self exiled that need became superfluous and so he no longer tried to demonise Obama, when it would have no effect in stirring an assassination attempt.
