Trump thinks a trade deficit with any given nation is a rip off by that nation, IS POLITICAL LIE, all it means is that the MARKET has determined the US is less competitive than that particular trading nation, OVER-ALL, he makes it out to be a conspiracy, but Gov barely affects import export markets unless with Tariffs, and THEN it is a gov conspiracy. Tariffs are not the answer, because it only makes a nation LESS COMPETITIVE, tariffs kick the competitive disadvantage down the track, instead of fixing it with new investment or technology innovation that increases competitiveness, the real ECONOMIC answer to trade deficits.
