In the spirit of Honest Broking I must admit I may have wronged Tay by suggesting on Twitter-X that failure to pre-release singles indicated the music was remaindered songwriting, was given the lie by her crediting Max Martin and Shellback for the musicianship on 'The Tayls of a Showgirl' [my term of endearment for album] with Tay lyricism overlaid on their songwriting, is instead promising a Champagne ‘corker’ album, the lack of pre-releases may be a contractual obligation imposed by Martin and Shellback, who may have crafted a musical style score for Tay to be librettist on, documenting her life, eras and travails over her 16 year career, Tay signalling a concept style Album, where pre-releases contradict the 'concept' nature and unitary integrity of the album, like it is a musical biography, where pre-releasing single defeats the conceptual oneness of the album, but having said that lets see the final score and lyrics for artistic intent, on Tays bio-musicianship.
