Ha Ha, my cell phone was stolen off the front seat of my publicly parked unlocked car. I quickly used a web portal to PING the phone, to within 3 feet to where the phone is, I got an address in a street in Wentworthville Sydney. I called police told them of my forensic search and its identification of errant thiefs home. Later that evening they visited the house and neighbours but accused denied they had the phone. I checked the tracker and suddenly the phoen went from middle of house to outside house…possibly the bin. A few hours later it was geo-located in the back yard of a house 3 doors down. I writ the phone off. Looking to buy a new cell phone, today, the police called my spare phone and said the Phone had been handed into Wentworthville Police station by someone who said they found it on the ground. The Police officer handed it with a look of disbelief, obviously they took the ‘FINDERS’ address for the reward that was posted on the phone enter screen…and found I had tracked it perfectly.
