Drug dependence is a deviance because it stops you getting ahead and better in life, drug dependence may be brimming with intoxicated dutch cheer, but it takes your focus off vocational aspiration, can replace family making as viable and sustainable happiness, and stops you focusing on life building projects, while in La La land intoxicated…is why its considered a deviance from norm, even though “everybody does it”, which is a myth, about 20 to 30% are drug dependent and they are usually the lowest on the LADDER OF SOCIAL STATUS in big part because they depend on drugs, not better reality and better judgement AND A BETTER LIFE of living, not intoxication.
