As a Buddhist I have an incorrect belief that the rebirth cycle can be stopped, by enlightenment, [and remission to Nirvana], which only regrades the social status of the rebirth in succeeding rebirths. Nirvana doesn't exist unless it is the astrophysical belief in parallel Universes of parallel, near identical existence.
